The LTM4644IY is a quad output step-down module (micro module) DC/DC regulator from Analog Devices. It integrates switching controller, power FET's, inductors and support components, suitable for applications such as data com, telecom, storage & industrial systems, robotic and high-performance computing.

Here's a basic layout for a typical application circuit:

1. Power Supply: The LTM4644IY operates with an input voltage range of 4.5V to 20V. Connect your input power supply to the VIN pin, with decoupling capacitors placed close to this pin to smooth out voltage fluctuations.

2. Output: The LTM4644IY provides four separate output voltages that can be individually adjusted. Each output (VOUT1, VOUT2, VOUT3, VOUT4) is connected to the load, with a capacitor placed near the pins to filter output noise.

3. Voltage Feedback: The feedback pin (FBX) is used to set the output voltage for each channel. To generate the necessary output voltage, connect a resistor divider from the output voltage to the FBX pin.

4. Enable and UV LO: The run pin (RUN) controls the regulator's operation. Pulling this pin high enables the regulator, and pulling it low puts it into shutdown mode. It can also be used to set an under voltage lockout (UV LO) threshold with a resistor divider from the input voltage.

5. Frequency Synchronization: The switching frequency is determined by a resistor linked to the FREQ pin. If you want to synchronize the switching frequency to an external clock, connect the clock signal to the SYNC pin.

6. Power Good Indicator: The GOOD pin provides an open-drain logic output that indicates when the corresponding output voltage is in regulation.

7. Soft-Start and Tracking: A capacitor connected to the TRACK/SS pin sets the ramp-up time of the output voltage.

8. Temperature monitoring: The TEMP pin delivers a voltage proportionate to the internal die temperature.
